Artist driven, Audience centered performances
Claire has produced numerous large scale dance and music performances as a collaborative program manager and creative director. Many were newly commissioned works that were directly inspired and informed by a particular exhibition or programmatic theme. Each performance served between 800 and 1200 audience members.

Claire has worked with artists, dancers and musicians to program unconventional spaces; museum galleries, hallways, stairwells, special exhibitions galleries, revolutionary war forts, ships and even elevators. Understanding their artistic practice, ethos and creative vision is essential when developing a new performance over the course of many months. She strives to balance the artists needs and audience needs during planning and implementation to ensure programmatic success.

Unique Initiatives
In addition to intimate gallery offers and large scale performances, Claire has had the opportunity to produce new initiatives with high profile performers. Whether it was working with The Bearded Ladies Cabaret on a roving dance and music performance inspired by Barbra Streisand or producing choreographer nora chipaumire’s performance in a functioning museum loading dock with 150 audience members, she thrives on managing multiple moving parts in order to produce a beautiful experience.
